PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULY

  • 1. All Graduands attending the Convocation in person must register online before reporting at the campus.
  • 2. You will receive a registration confirmation email with a QR Code attachment.
  • 3. The QR Code should be presented at the Convocation attire distribution centre for collecting the convocation attire. It is not necessary to take a printout of the QR Code. If you have not received the QR Code in your email after registration, please send a mail to convocation@cb.amrita.edu mentioning your roll number.
  • 4. Transportation and accommodation facilities will not be provided to the Graduands & their Parents/Guardians. You are advised not to plan for a night stay in the Campus. Dressing rooms will be made available near the reporting centre.
  • 5. The convocation attire distribution centre for Boys will be ANOKHA HUB and for Girls, Visitors room, MYTHREYI BHAVANAM. These centres will be open from 2.00pm to 6.00pm on 13th October 2023 and 06.00am to 2.00pm on 14th October 2023.
  • 6. Graduands should report to the attire distribution centre to collect their attire and Entry Pass/Food Coupons (Passes/Coupons are required only for accompanying persons) which should be produced at the Convocation venue and also at designated Mess Halls prior to Lunch While entering the mess hall, the Entry pass/Food Coupons must be handed over to the security staff
  • 7. Accompanying persons will be allowed into the convocation venue only along with the graduand. Hence, please ensure that you report at the Convocation Venue together, latest by 10.45am on 14 October 2023.
  • 8. Owing to large participation, all graduands are informed to collect their Convocation dress as early as possible to avoid a last-minute rush.
  • 9. The main convocation function shall be held in the auditorium next to Amrita School of Business.
  • 10. Since the seating capacity in the main convocation Hall is limited, a maximum of two accompanying persons will only be allowed inside the convocation call, and it will be on a first-come, first-served basis till the seats are filled. Accompanying persons beyond the seating capacity available in the main convocation Hall will be accommodated in a hall in the main ground, where there will be a live telecast of the proceedings. 
  • 11. Graduands will be permitted to the convocation hall only if they wear the convocation attire. Seating arrangements for medal winners and PhD awardees will be in a separate enclosure, near the stage.
  • 12. To maintain the solemnity of the function, graduands are not allowed to leave the convocation hall during the entire function.All are expected to maintain silence in the Convocation Hall during the proceedings.
  • 13. Those who cannot make it to the convocation hall by 10.45 AM, will be allowed to attend the certificate distribution ceremony held at designated venues after the main function.
  • 14. After the convocation ceremony, lunch will be provided only to the Graduands and 2 accompanying persons in the respective mess halls.
  • 15. The certificate distribution ceremony will commence at 3:00 pm at the designated venues.
  • 16. Degree Certificates and medals will be issued only to the graduands during the Convocation function/certificate distribution ceremony. If parents are attending the Convocation ceremony on behalf of the graduand, they can collect the certificate from the respective department offices after the certificate distribution ceremony by producing any ID proof issued by Govt. of India and an authorization letter from the graduand.
  • 17. Graduands can collect their final semester Grade Sheet, Provisional Certificate, and Transcript from their respective department offices if they have not yet collected.
